My name is Irene, I’m a Korean American born and raised in Michigan. I joined this project because I wanted to learn how immigrant stories in my own family connect to other Asian American experiences. I didn’t know much about oral history before, but this project showed me how meaningful it is to share and preserve these voices.
Some fun facts about me are that I love going on walks, going to cafes, and listening to music!
