My name is Shravani Gurunath, I am a junior in Northville Highschool in Northville, Michigan. I joined this project because I wanted to make a change and combat stereotypes surrounding Asian-American immigrants, and share the inspirational stories that often get lost and go unheard. A fun fact about me is that I like to make and produce music!
Born in Belur, Karnataka, Deepa Joshi is a multi-entrepreneur and IQ engineer who embodies a spirit of limitless ambition. Beyond her career as an IQ engineer at an engineering company, she hosts a talk show, runs her own clothing label, and practices as a South Indian bath therapist. Her story highlights entrepreneurial versatility, the power of balancing multiple passions, and breaking expectations about what one person can achieve.
Born in Chaklala, Pakistan, Fatima Siddiqui is a dentist and community advocate who was raised in Kuwait in a deeply religious household. Alongside her sister, she challenged traditional gender roles by becoming one of the primary breadwinners in her family. Now a successful dentist, mother of four, and owner of her own clinic, she dedicates herself to organizing fundraising events for Pakistani children lacking access to education. Her journey showcases defying cultural expectations, professional achievement paired with motherhood, and giving back through community leadership.
